There is so much versatility with how this frame can be used. You can place the engraved insert in front of canvas or behind it. You can also take out the protective film to keep the frame open magnifying the detail of the textured color engrave fill. My personal preference is not to use protective film to avoid the glare and be able to see much of the detail of the Palestine embroidery also known as tatreez.
